James Hurst

James is a seasoned Chartered Surveyor with a distinguished career spanning over three decades.

He began his professional journey at a boutique firm in the West End, where he specialised in valuing residential and commercial properties for high-net-worth clients of private banks. His expertise and dedication quickly earned him a partnership at the firm.

Driven by a passion for development and taxation valuations, James founded his own company, where he honed his skills and expanded his portfolio. In 2024, he joined Grant Stanley as a senior surveyor, bringing his wealth of experience and keen eye for detail to the team.

Outside of work, James has had thrilling experiences flying helicopters and piloting hovercraft. Nowadays, he is more likely to be found with his drone or hiking through the woods with his loyal dog companion or exploring urban landscapes as an avid urban tourist.
